Olympic National Park, Part 2: The Forest
I was sad to leave the Pacific Coast for the final time (for now), but at least we had some old-growth forest and waterfalls to look forward to.

After leaving Olympic, we took a ferry across the Puget Sound to Whidbey Island. Deception Pass looks like a park we should have spent more time at, but sometimes on this trip we just get in the mood to get to a completely different area. We knew that North Cascades was coming next and I think we were just anxious to get there. But I’d like to return to this park someday.
