Arches National Park
I’ll say this upfront: we didn’t go to Delicate Arch. We skipped the most famous arch in the park because I had a job interview that morning which was annoying for a variety of reasons, one of which is that it was delayed several times. So it was later in the afternoon when we finally drove to the trailhead, and we just weren’t feeling it. We did go to one of the viewpoints and saw it from very far away, for what it’s worth.
Whatever! We’ll go back someday, there’s a ton more to see in the Moab area. And what we did see was pretty incredible.
Windows Trail and Double Arch Trail
This area was busy as hell, they’re the shortest walks to some of the biggest arches in the park.
Devil’s Garden Campground
Devil’s Garden Trail
This was our big hike in Arches, and it was pretty chill. Only a couple odd rock-face scrambles to add some spice to the experience. We did see some people chimney-ing down into a big crevasse, and I really wanted to try it but I also didn’t want to be an “idiot rescued in National Park” news story.
