Glacier National Park, Part 2: Going-to-the-Sun Road
After all the hiking in Many Glacier, we didn’t actually do much while staying over in Apgar Campground on the west side. It was nice to just relax and jump in Lake McDonald when it got hot in the afternoon. But we made a few stops while taking Going-to-the-Sun Road, and we did go back up a couple times on the park shuttle.
Saint Mary Campground
We stayed one night in this campground so we could have an early start driving through the mountains. We had a bunch of Rufous Hummingbirds right in our campsite, so I watched them a bunch that night and the next morning.
